The Makers University  ·  A Guided Virtual Week

“I have a hundred ideas and no idea where to start.” “I make something I love, then can’t recreate it to save my life.” “I used to love this. I want that feeling back.”

If any of that sounds like you, you’re exactly who this is for.

The Creative Week is a calm, guided week where you watch our Design School coaches create Fall and Halloween designs in real time. You’ll see what’s worth making this season, learn repeatable methods so you can make it again, and get it in front of the right people. Join the live watch-and-learn sessions or catch the replay, and walk into Q4 with your spark and a plan in hand.

One payment. Five days. Your biggest season, finally handled.

You don’t need more ideas for Fall. You need to know what’s worth making, a repeatable way to make it, and the confidence to walk into your biggest season ready.

You love making. That part was never the problem.

The problem is the noise. Every trend, every idea, every “you should make one of these,” until you’re standing over your supplies with no idea where to start.

Maybe the spark got buried under everything on your plate, and you want it back.

Maybe you’re full of ideas and just need to know which ones are actually worth making this season.

Maybe you make something you love, then can’t recreate it, because there was never a repeatable method behind it.

Here’s the truth. You’re not short on talent. You’re short on a way to know what to make, make it again, and be ready before your biggest season arrives. That isn’t a flaw. It’s just a method nobody ever showed you.

Right now
“I have a hundred ideas and no idea what’s worth making.”
After this week
“I know exactly what to create, and how to make it again.”

Fall is your biggest season, and it’s coming whether you’re ready or not. This is where you get ready.

The Creative Week

A calm, guided week that helps you fall back in love with making, learn what’s worth creating this season, and pick up repeatable methods you can use again and again, so you walk into Q4 with your Fall designs ready, a head start on Halloween, and your spark back.

One week. Six sessions. A season that finally connects.

The week opens with Damon on night one, so everything you watch after has somewhere to go. Then five of our Design School coaches each create a Fall design live, showing you what’s worth making this season and the repeatable methods to make it your own.

Session 1 · Tuesday, Aug 11 · 7pm CST · with Damon

Start by getting your work seen

From “I post and it disappears” to “I know exactly what to post, and who it’s for.”
  • What to post, how to write the caption, and how to film the reel
  • The kinds of content that get handmade work noticed, and how to make them
  • Why we start here, so you can use it on every design you watch this week
You leave with: a simple way to show off everything that comes next.
Session 2 · Wednesday, Aug 12 · 7pm CST · with Tammy

A statement Fall swag

From “my swags look flat and thrown together” to “I can build a full, layered swag with a focal point.”
  • Turn a plain swag base into a full, colorful one with the double-base trick
  • Mesh to the metal, so nothing sags or falls flat
  • Layered hand bows that frame your focal piece
You leave with: a statement Fall swag, and the base and bow tricks to repeat it.
Session 3 · Thursday, Aug 13 · 7pm CST · with Meghan

A full Fall wreath

From “my wreaths look sparse and unfinished” to “I can build a full, flowing wreath from the base up.”
  • Build an evergreen base and cruffle the mesh so it reads full, not flat
  • Set a focal pumpkin and secure it so it never shifts
  • Ribbon flow and floral stuffing that lead the eye around the wreath
You leave with: a full Fall wreath, and a base-to-bow method you can repeat.
Session 4 · Friday, Aug 14 · 7pm CST · with Dereka

A plush Fall apple attachment

From “flat attachments that look store-bought” to “a soft, dimensional piece that’s all mine.”
  • Shape and stuff a foam-board apple so it’s plump, not flat
  • Cover it cleanly in any Fall color, with no messy glue lines
  • Finish it with cordage detailing and a simple bow
You leave with: a plush apple attachment, and a pattern you can make in any color.
Session 5 · Saturday, Aug 15 · 11am CST · with Stacy

A Fall table centerpiece

From “I can never find the right base” to “I can build a centerpiece base from scratch.”
  • Make an easy, sturdy base from a ribbon board and pipe cleaners
  • The puff method, for full and even mesh every time
  • Set a focal piece and florals so it looks good from every seat at the table
You leave with: a Fall centerpiece, and a base trick you’ll use again and again.
Session 6 · Saturday, Aug 15 · 1pm CST · with Jordan

A no-glue Fall swag

From “gluing everything and hoping it holds” to “a swag that holds together with zero glue.”
  • The bundle method: layer your picks and zip-tie them, no mesh, no glue
  • Build it into a teardrop swag, or a garland from the same bundles
  • Easy ribbon strips instead of bows
You leave with: a no-glue Fall swag, and a bundle method that works for any season.
Bonus · Yours the moment you join

The Halloween Design Library

Every coach also filmed their design in a Halloween theme, pre-recorded and yours the moment you join. Get a head start on the spooky season before the live Fall week even begins.

Is this for you?

However you got here, you’re welcome.

This is for you if

  • You make seasonal work, and Fall is a big season for you
  • You have plenty of ideas but want to know which are worth making this season
  • You love making but want repeatable methods, so you can create it again
  • You learn best by watching real designs come together, not reading steps
  • You want to walk into Q4 ready, with your spark back and your work getting seen

This isn’t for you if

  • You want a fast, one-size-fits-all formula with no explanation
  • You’re looking for high-pressure, pushy marketing tactics
  • You’d rather learn entirely on your own than watch and learn alongside a group

What’s included for $50

Everything you need for the week, yours from the moment you join.

  • The Halloween Design Library, pre-recorded and yours the moment you join, so you’re ahead on Halloween before the week even starts.

  • Five live Fall design sessions with our Design School coaches, Tammy, Meghan, Dereka, Stacy and Jordan, August 12 to 15, recorded and yours to rewatch.
  • Replay access to every session, so nothing depends on being there in the moment.

Questions before you save your seat

What if I can’t be there for every live session?

That’s the beauty of how this is built. Every session is recorded, and replay access is included, so you can watch whenever it works for you. Sessions run at 7pm CST Tuesday through Friday, plus Saturday at 11am and 1pm CST. Come to the ones you can, and catch the rest on replay. Nothing depends on being there in the moment.

Is this a craft-along? Do I need supplies?

No supplies required. The Creative Week is a watch-and-learn experience. You get a front-row seat to watch real Fall and Halloween designs come together, and you learn the decisions behind them so you can create your own way afterward. If you’d like to make something inspired as you go, you’re welcome to use your own materials.

If I’m only watching, will I really be able to make these myself?

That’s exactly what this is built for. You’re not just watching a finished piece appear. Each coach walks you through the repeatable method behind their design, decision by decision, so you understand why it works and can recreate it your own way. And because every session is recorded, you can follow along at your own pace, as many times as you like.

I’m brand new to this. Is it still for me?

Yes. The Creative Week meets you wherever you are, whether you’ve been making for years or you’re just getting started. It’s beginner-friendly, but never basic. You don’t need any experience to follow along, just the desire to create with a little more clarity and confidence. Whether your spark feels buried right now or you’re overflowing with ideas, this is for you.

What’s the Halloween Design Library?

A bonus that’s yours the moment you join. Every coach also filmed their design in a Halloween theme, pre-recorded for you to watch anytime. So you get a head start on Halloween before the live Fall week even begins, two of your biggest seasons handled in one place.

What exactly is Damon’s session?

Damon opens the whole week on night one, Tuesday. It’s the part most workshops skip: how to actually get your work seen. Not another plan to file away. He walks you through what to post, how to write the caption, and how to film the reel, so you can use it on every design you watch that week. No tech background needed.

Is this included in Design School?

The Creative Week is its own live experience, separate from Design School. Design School members are warmly welcome to join. And when you go to save your seat, you’ll see an option to add Design School if you’d like to keep learning after the week. It’s completely optional.

What is your refund policy?

Because this is a live virtual event with instant access the moment you join, all sales are final. Please make sure it feels like the right fit for you before you join.

Come remember why you started

You started making because you loved it. Somewhere in the deadlines and the endless ideas, that can get quiet. It doesn’t mean it’s gone. This is the week you sit down, learn alongside people who get it, and walk back out with your designs ready and a real plan to get them in front of the right people. Your biggest season is coming. Let’s get you ready.
